With any appliances that you may with to move to Australia, we suggest that you check with the manufacturers first to see whether they will be suitable for use.

Electrical supply/voltage
In Australia this is 220-250 Volts = 50 Cycles AC

Televisions and videos
In Australia the transmitting system is PAL.BG

Lamps
Most lamps in Australia can easily be adapted by changing the plug to a three-pin type. The light bulbs are either screw-in or bayonet fittings – all readily available in Australia.

Other domestic appliances
Most if not all other domestic appliances will work satisfactorily in Australia. Most electric shavers and hair dryers have conversion switches on them, so just make sure you adjust these items prior to using then for the first time.
